Second Cycle

The PIAAC 2nd Cycle of the Survey of Adult Skills (PIAAC) is taking place from 2018-2024 with the participation of over 30 countries/economies. Data collection will take place in 2022-2023 and the results will be published in 2024.

A new round of data collection during the Second Cycle is planned to be implemented in 2024-2029. More information is available in our brochure in English, French or Spanish.
What is measured?
In the PIAAC 2nd Cycle, skills in three domains are measured:
- literacy
- numeracy
- adaptive problem solving
