The 2022 edition of the OECD Local Development Forum debated the issues needed to create “Better strategies for stronger communities".

With the support of the European Union, the OECD has developed a manual to equip policy makers with concrete policy guidance on the regulatory design process, legal options and evaluation tools to support social enterprise development.

To support local governments in their efforts to future-proof adult learning systems, this policy manual presents a range of policy options and concrete actions that can inspire and guide work at the local level.

‌This report shows novel measures on demand for digital skills and automation risks and makes suggestions on how to include vulnerable groups in learning. 

The OECD Local Skills Week explored how local communities can overcome local skills gaps and mismatches by helping people reskill and upskill throughout their working lives.
