Innovations such as collaborative professional learning networks, AI-powered tools, and increased autonomy in curriculum design provide new pathways for teachers to expand their influence and redefine their roles. When teachers are supported and trusted, they can lead meaningful change — not just respond to it. The OECD Teaching Compass plays a vital role here, acting as a practical guide to help teachers apply the Learning Compass in ways that foster deep, transformative learning.
