The Latin American and Caribbean Competition Forum brings together high-level competition officials each year to promote dialogue, consensus building and networking among policy makers and enforcers in the region.
The 2026 Forum will be hosted by Argentina's Autoridad Nacional de la Competencia on 14-15 October 2026 and will explore informal markets, Colombia’s peer review and the early resolution of cartel cases in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Registration
Participation is by invitation only and open to officials of Latin American and Caribbean competition institutions, competition experts from OECD countries and international organisations.

Ibero-American Forum on Competition
Founded on the willingness of a country to submit its laws and practices to substantive review by peers, the Peer Review exercise provides valuable insights to the country under study, mainly by recommending ways to improve its competition policy including the effectiveness of its competition institutions.
In 2026, Colombia's competition law and policy will be subject to such a review. The final report, including recommendations to strengthen Colombia's competition framework will be launched in Bogotá, Colombia next year.
