The OECD Standard Codes for the Official Testing of Agricultural and Forestry Tractors allow participating countries to perform tractor tests according to harmonised procedures, and to obtain OECD official approvals which facilitate international trade.

Participation
The OECD Tractor Codes are open to OECD member and non-member countries. Twenty-seven countries adhere, including : Brazil, China, India, the Russian Federation and Serbia.

The OECD also works with the UN and other international organisations to extend safety and environmental standards to countries in Latin America, Africa, and Asia.
