Advancing Public Integrity in Thailand examines progress made in implementing the recommendations of the 2018 and 2021 OECD Integrity Reviews of Thailand and identifies areas where further efforts are needed, in line with the OECD Recommendation on Public Integrity.
The report suggests concrete actions to strengthen Thailand’s strategic approach to public integrity and reinforce the effective implementation of integrity policies across the public sector. It proposes measures to improve disciplinary mechanisms and sanctions and establish whistleblower protection standards to strengthen transparency and accountability. Additionally, it provides guidance to further strengthen public ethics and conflict-of-interest frameworks, and to promote greater transparency and participation in public policymaking.
By taking stock of reforms and outlining priorities for continued progress, the report supports Thailand’s efforts to build a coherent and resilient integrity system, strengthen accountability and foster public trust.
