OECD InfraDays 2026: Infrastructure Governance and the Blue Dot Network

The OECD InfraDays 2026 focus on accelerating infrastructure delivery while reinforcing resilience and fiscal sustainability. This year’s edition places particular emphasis on streamlining permitting and licensing frameworks, improving cost control and strengthening governance systems to respond to climate-related, geopolitical and technological risks.

Through its collaboration with the BDN, a global initiative hosted by the OECD that promotes high quality, sustainable and transparent infrastructure, the event also highlights the importance of investor confidence and internationally recognised standards in mobilising finance for resilient infrastructure projects.

The programme will include the BDN Certification Ceremony, recognising a new cohort of infrastructure projects that have successfully met the initiative’s framework criteria for quality infrastructure.

The OECD InfraDays 2026 bring together a broad community of stakeholders committed to strengthening infrastructure governance. The two main public events - the Infrastructure Permitting Report Launch and the Roundtable on Governing for Infrastructure Resilience - are open to all interested participants, including government officials, regulators, infrastructure practitioners, investors, academics, civil society representatives and international organisations.

In addition, selected sessions held during the week are organised by invitation only, enabling focused exchanges among senior decision makers and experts from OECD and partner countries.

The Blue Dot Network (BDN), hosted by the OECD, is a global initiative that certifies infrastructure projects meeting the highest standards of sustainability, resilience, economic efficiency, and transparency. As a trusted signal for investors, it plays a key role in helping to mobilise investment for quality infrastructure projects, particularly in emerging and developing economies.
