About the programme
How it works
Responsible business conduct based on OECD due diligence standards can enable businesses to meet sustainability goals and remain competitive in international markets. The OECD is helping to strengthen the capacity of businesses to implement international responsible business conduct standards by working with local partners in Asia to provide analysis as well as training and tools for businesses to implement supply chain due diligence. These activities have a particular focus on the electronics, vehicle parts, minerals and finance sectors.
Responsible business conduct is an important means for governments to build sustainable, inclusive and resilient economies. Effective policies that enable and incentivise responsible business conduct can help governments enhance competitiveness and align business activities with social and environmental goals. The OECD conducts analysis and convenes dialogue between policymakers to foster policy co-operation in Asia on topics related to responsible business conduct.
Business perspectives on responsible business conduct in the Asia-Pacific region
