Prepared within the framework of the EU for Private Sector Development initiative, this note provides an overview of businesses’ access to finance in Bosnia and Herzegovina and examines how capital markets can diversify financing sources, enabling firms to invest, grow, and strengthen their resilience. Drawing on a broad range of consultations with stakeholders, it maps the current state of capital markets in the country and outlines key priorities to advance reforms, enhance capital market development, and accelerate economic growth.
