The Hartree National Centre for Digital Innovation (HNCDI), a collaborative programme between the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) and IBM, offers a variety of training programmes aimed at enhancing digital skills across the UK. These programmes are designed to help individuals, businesses, and public sector organisations adopt advanced digital technologies such as supercomputing, data science, artificial intelligence (AI), and quantum computing.
EXPLAIN Training Programme: This application-focused training is designed to enable participants to leverage digital technologies to enhance organisational processes and thrive in a digital economy. The programme offers self-learning modules for flexible, self-paced learning, as well as live events featuring expert interactions. The curriculum covers areas including supercomputing, data science, AI, full-stack development, cloud computing, and quantum computing.
Digital & AI Skills Network: HNCDI, in collaboration with partners like Coventry University, is exploring the development of a national Digital and AI Skills Network. This initiative aims to address regional and national skills gaps by providing access to training courses, webinars, workshops, and events focused on data science and AI.
