Since 2019, the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) requires a data management plan (DMP) for approved research proposals and has defined a minimum set of questions that cover the data management plan. Furthermore, according to its Open Access Policy for Research Data, the FWF requires that research data and similar materials collected and/or analysed with FWF funding be made openly accessible.
