The Risks that Matter (RTM) Survey and Programme is carried out in the OECD Directorate for Employment, Labour and Social Affairs (ELS), under the direction of Stefano Scarpetta (Director, OECD ELS), Mark Pearson (Deputy Director, OECD ELS) and Monika Queisser (Senior Counsellor and Head of Social Policy, OECD ELS). The RTM Programme is overseen by Valerie Frey (Senior Economist, ELS).
This report was written by Valerie Frey (ELS) and Jasmin Thomas (ELS). Chris Clarke provided valuable support at various stages of questionnaire development, fieldwork, data collection and analysis. This report benefitted from useful feedback from Delegates to the OECD Working Party on Social Policy (WPSP) and the OECD Employment, Labour and Social Affairs Committee (ELSAC).
We are thankful to the many colleagues from ELS and the OECD who, from early stages, provided useful feedback into questionnaire design, development and/or translation, especially in country-specific contexts.
Michael Donohue (Data Protection, OECD) contributed to questionnaire development, ensuring data protection, particularly relating to the release of the public use microdata files. ELS colleagues Hanna Varkki and Lucy Hulett led the publication and dissemination process, and Marie-Aurélie Elkurd, Sandra Gandy, Guillaume Haquin, Jayne Maddock and Helena Treadwell-Guedj provided valuable administrative, logistical, publication and communications support.
The project was principally supported by member countries’ voluntary financial contributions. The OECD Environment Directorate and the National Center of Competence in Research – On the Move also provided financial support.
