The geographical coverage slightly differs among the chapters. As per the terms of reference of the studies presented to the IMEC Steering Committee in October 2025, only eight countries were covered: the six signatories along the corridor (France, Germany, India, Italy, Saudi Arabia and the UAE) and the two implicitly included countries (Jordan and Israel). Given the on-going expanded scope of IMEC and upon request from the donors and the IMEC Team Europe supporting these studies, the analysis of the Scoreboard was extended to five additional countries (Greece, Cyprus, Egypt, Lebanon, and Oman). The Chapter on transport also include Greece and contains a section on extended participation. The Chapter on trade facilitation provides analysis of the eight countries, initially agreed upon.
The report was drafted in the first months of 2026. Therefore, it does not fully reflect the impact of the evolving conflict in the Middle East, during the last months.
