The purpose of this study is to analyse and assess how selected countries manage emerging critical risks, compared with the Framework for the Governance of Emerging Critical Risks as a guiding benchmark. By examining the practices and approaches of these countries, the study aims to:
Understand Diverse Approaches: Explore the different methods and strategies employed by each country in identifying, assessing, and managing emerging critical risks, highlighting their insights and experiences.
Evaluate Effectiveness: Assess the effectiveness of these practices in relation to the seven steps of the Framework, identifying strengths, challenges, and gaps in implementation.
Identify Effective Practices: Highlight successful methodologies and practices that align with the Framework, providing examples that can serve as models for others.
Inform Policy and Practice: Provide insights and recommendations that can inform policymakers, practitioners, and stakeholders involved in risk management and resilience building, contributing to the enhancement of global risk governance.
Enhance Understanding of Risk Governance: Contribute to the academic and practical understanding of how emerging critical risks can be effectively managed through structured frameworks and collaborative efforts.
