The special focus chapter on public communication and trust in Slovenia greatly benefited from background research and an analytical framework developed jointly with Carlota Alfonsi, Policy Analyst within the Innovative, Digital and Open Government (INDIGO) Division. Additional qualitative analysis was gathered through cooperation with officials from the Government Communication Office (UKOM) and communication offices within the Ministries of Health, Public Administration, and Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities.
Simona Hočevar, Polona Kobal and Til Rozman, under the leadership of Eva Treven, Director General of the Directorate of Quality, formed the core team within the Ministry of Public Administration that coordinated the project. The OECD team thanks the representatives from different Slovenian Ministries and Agencies for their participation in the workshop on the study results in September 2024; and gratefully acknowledges contributions to the workshop from Koen Beirens, Federal Public Service Policy and Support (BOSA), Belgium; Mario Scharfbillig, Joint Research Centre, European Commission; and Fiona Speirs, Government Communications Service, Cabinet Office, United Kingdom.
