Investment in the production or use of biodegradable materials to replace environmentally harmful chemicals. Furthermore, the Green Loan has been extended to support entrepreneurs investing in the installation of solar panel systems on the rooftops of their businesses, through the Bualuang Green Solar Energy loan. (Bangkok Bank, n.d.[2])	BBL has offered Bualuang Green Solar Energy loans with a credit of up to 100% on investment to PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited (Bangkok Bank, 2023[3]).
	Loan for selected businesses	The bank offers loans for specific types of projects or businesses related to sustainability objectives, such as: Renewable Energy Electric Mass Transit System Project Environmentally friendly Real Estate Projects EV Businesses Energy and Environmental Preservation (Bangkok Bank, n.d.[2])
	Sustainability-linked loan (SLL)	The Bank incentivises corporate customers, both domestic and international, to achieve their sustainability goals by providing sustainability-linked loan initiatives. Customers will receive special privileges upon successfully meeting the sustainability targets, such as goals related to GHG reduction, energy efficiency improvement and the reduction of natural resource usage. (Bangkok Bank, n.d.[2])
	ESG Bonds	The bank offers green bonds, social bonds, sustainability bonds and sustainability-linked bonds that meet international standards. The Bank also acts as a green structuring advisor on the issuance of green bonds and sustainability bonds for businesses seeking to raise capital through the capital markets. (Bangkok Bank, n.d.[2])
	Green Financing for Transition to Environmental Sustainability Loan	The bank offers loans at lower interest rates for three types of investment projects: 1) carbon emission reduction, 2) climate transition and 3) pollution reduction. Examples include investments in wastewater treatment systems, construction or renovation of energy-efficient buildings/factories, environmentally friendly real estate projects, circular waste management and renewable energy initiatives (Krungsri, 2024[4])
	Krungsri SME Sustainability Businesses Loan	The bank offers loans at lower interest rates (minimum 4.5% for the first 2 years) for environmentally conscious businesses and those involved in the production, installation, distribution, or provision of sustainability-related solutions. Examples include manufacturers of electric motors, insulation installation businesses, solar cell installers, EV charger providers, clean energy businesses, electric vehicle enterprises and recycling companies. This ESG loan for SMEs serves as additional funding to support business expansion or further development of existing operations (Krungsri, 2024[5]).
	Krungsri SME Solar Rooftop	For investment in solar rooftop installation in businesses, this aims to support the use of alternative energy. It is suitable for those seeking a solar rooftop loan for eco-friendly businesses and SME loans for green enterprises. (Krungsri, 2024[5])
	Sustainability-Linked Loan (SLL) and Derivatives		1) Krungsri and MUFG provided an SLL of THB 10 000 million to Thai Beverage Public Company Limited(ThaiBev) (Krungsri, 2024[6]). 2) Central Pattana and Krungsri partner on Sustainability-Linked Loans and Sustainability-Linked Derivatives valued at THB 2 850 million (Krungsri, 2024[7])
CIMB Thai Bank	Transition Finance	The bank offers transition financing for oil, gas and energy sectors, helping businesses transition from brown to less brown organisations. (Bangkok Post, 2024[8])
	Sustainability-linked loan (SLL)	The bank offers loans that incentivise the borrower’s achievement of ambitious, predetermined sustainability performance objectives, which are measured using SPTs. (CIMB Thai, 2023[9])	Asset World Corp Public Company Limited (AWC) and CIMB Thai Bank PCL signed a Sustainability- Linked Loan valued at THB 3 000 million (CIMB Thai, 2023[10]).
Government Savings Bank	Green Biz Loans	Support renewable energy, energy efficiency and BCG-aligned businesses (Royal Thai Embassy, Washington, D.C., 2023[11])
	ESG‐score linked lending	ESG-scored credit guidance	The bank is the first in Thailand to integrate ESG scoring into its loan approval process for large businesses with credit limits of THB 500 million or more. (Bangkok Post, 2023[12])
HSBC Thailand	Green deposits	Uses deposit inflows to fund climate‑aligned ESG projects and green SMEs	HSBC Thailand has launched the country’s first “green deposit” with petrochemical manufacturer Indorama Ventures (IVL) and 7-Eleven convenience store for green projects such as renewable energy infrastructure and energy-efficient buildings. (Indorama Ventures, 2021[13])
	Green loans	Green Loans have characteristics aligned with the four pillars of the Green Loan Principles. The key pillar is that loans are made available to fully or partially finance/re-finance new or existing eligible Green Projects. These include, but are not limited to, renewable projects, green buildings, clean transport and energy efficiency. 	Green Financing Framework	This Framework outlines HSBC’s approach to allocating proceeds from eligible instruments, such as debt securities, deposits and repurchase agreements, issued by HSBC Holdings plc or its subsidiaries. These proceeds are directed toward businesses and projects that meet specific environmental eligibility criteria defined within the Framework. Aligned with the ICMA Green Bond Principles, it promotes transparency in green finance. (HSBC, 2024[18])	The HSBC Green Financing Framework forms a part of our sustainability strategy and helps further our aim of supporting our clients in transitioning to a net-zero future. Land and Houses Bank	Green loans	Supports SME transitions and energy-efficient real estate via advisory and financing	LH Bank supported Don Muang Tollway PLC with a THB 200 million Green Loan and a THB 300 million Sustainability-Linked Loan to fund green projects aligned with the company’s sustainability strategy, including initiatives to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. (Land and Houses Bank Public Company Ltd., 2024[19])
	Sustainability-Linked Loans		SC Asset Corporation Public Company Limited (SC Asset) has collaborated with Land and Houses Bank Public Company Limited to secure a Sustainability-Linked Loan (SLL) worth THB 600 million. This loan aligns with SC Asset’s sustainability goals and supports its commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions The initiative also includes increasing the use of environmentally friendly materials by 5% per year. (SC Asset, 2024[20])
Kasikornbank	Green loan for low-carbon transition	The bank offers loans at lower interest rates for businesses’ investment projects that reduce energy use or reduce GHG emissions (directly and indirectly). Two interest rates are applied: a) MLR – 1.25% (for a repayment period of ≤ 5 years) b) MLR – 1.00% (for a repayment period between 5-8 years) (Kasikornbank Public Company Ltd., n.d.[21])	SCG Cleanergy Co., Ltd., has received a 1.5-billion-baht loan for its Solar Private PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) project in 2024 (Kasikornbank Public Company Ltd., 2024[22]).
	Sustainability-linked loan (SLL)		KBank has provided 10 billion baht in sustainability-linked loan to GC to support its sustainability goals (GC, 2023[23]).
	“Go Green” Loan	The bank offers loans for selected types of projects such as: Solar Rooftop Loan, Energy Saving Loan, Green Home Loan, EV Charger Loan, EV Loan Each with reduced (from -0.80 to -3.37%) interest rates from the MLR or MRR (Kasikornbank Public Company Ltd., 2025[24])
Kiatnakin Phatra Bank	Environmental criteria in credit policy	Approval of real estate and corporate loans must consider environmental protection. KKP is developing a database of alternative materials and technologies to support borrowers in green construction and energy‑efficiency efforts (KKP Bank, n.d.[25])
	Green loans for eco‑businesses	KKP runs special lending campaigns with favorable interest rates for companies using alternative-fuel vehicles (EVs, gasohol), eco-friendly industries, sewage and waste‑management firms and data centers employing low‑impact technologies (KKP Bank, n.d.[25]).
	ESG‑aligned investment strategy	The bank integrates ESG factors into the process of selecting investments, aiming to provide long-term returns to investors. (Sornsong, 2025[26]; Kiatnakin Phatra Bank, 2024[27])	In 2023, Kiatnakin Phatra Securities launched two Thai ESG funds: the KKP EQ THAI ESG Fund, investing in SET-listed companies recognised for sustainability or climate-related disclosures and targets; and the KKP GB THAI ESG Fund, focusing on government bonds aligned with ESG principles (Kiatnakin Phatra Bank, 2024[27]).
Krungthai Bank	Environmental Loan for Private Sector	The bank offers low-interest loans for the private sector aimed at controlling, treating, or eliminating pollution. There are three types of eligible projects: 1) Projects to replace existing systems with new machinery or equipment for air treatment, wastewater treatment, or waste disposal systems. 2) Projects to install animal waste fermentation systems for producing fertilizer or soil conditioners. 3) Projects for constructing dedicated wastewater treatment systems for business establishments (Krungthai Bank Public Company Ltd., 2020[28])	1) King Eggs (Thailand) Co., Ltd., received an environmental loan from KTB to procure machinery for converting chicken manure into high-quality organic fertilizer 2) Thai Roong Ruang Energy Co., Ltd., received the loan to develop and improve the clean energy production process from molasses, leading to the generation of biogas (Krungthai Bank Public Company Ltd., 2021[29])
	Green Lending	The bank offers loans specifically for installation of solar cells, solar rooftops, or EV chargers. This loan is eligible to individuals and businesses (Krungthai Bank Public Company Ltd., 2020[30]).	.
	Green Loan	Loans for entrepreneurs or projects aiming to transition through activities that are environmentally friendly, with the following objectives: reducing greenhouse gas emissions, adapting to climate change and preventing and controlling pollution (Krungthai Bank Public Company Ltd., 2025[31]).	NatureWorks’ Ingeo PLA Manufacturing Expansion Attracts Record Financing from Krungthai Bank PCL of Thailand (GC, 2024[32]).
	Sustainability-linked loan (SLL)	Support sustainability-linked loans, where the loan conditions include setting Sustainability Performance Targets (SPTs) to incentivise businesses to improve their performance in environmental, social and governance (ESG) aspects (Krungthai Bank Public Company Ltd., 2025[31]).
	Green Deposit	A financial product offered by the bank with the objective of supporting environmentally friendly projects through the mobilisation of funds from customer deposits. The money deposited in this type of account will be used to finance projects that help reduce environmental impact, such as clean energy initiatives, sustainable waste management, reforestation and other environmental conservation efforts. Depositing in the KTB Green Deposit not only supports sustainable development but also provides interest returns to depositors (Krungthai Bank Public Company Ltd., 2025[31]).
Siam Commercial Bank (SCB)	Green Loan	SCB offers green loans to support environmentally friendly projects and initiatives, including renewable energy, electric vehicles, rail transport and energy-efficient buildings. (SCB, n.d.[33])	Energy Absolute PCL (EA) and SCB signed a 2-billion-baht green loan for EV buses investment in Bangkok (The Nation, 2023[34])
	Sustainability-Linked Loan	SCB offers sustainability-linked loans with preferential interest rates tied to specific sustainability performance targets (SPTs). Key Performance Indicators (KPI) include external sustainability ratings, energy efficiency enhancements, GHG emissions reduction and water conservation. (SCB, n.d.[33])	Asset World Corporation (AWC) and SCB signed a Sustainability Linked Loan and Green Loan valued at THB 20 000 million (AWC, 2023[35]).
	SCB SME Go Green loan	SCB offers different types of loans for SMEs and SSMEs such as: SCB SMEs Green Finance Green Forward Loan PM2.5 Reduction Loan Sustainability and Efficiency Enhancement Loans for Hotel Business (SCB, n.d.[33])
	Green Bond	SCB has supported the Thai financial markets to take part in protecting the environment and ecosystems by underwriting green and sustainability-linked bonds (SLB). The bond issuance proceeded in conformity with international standards, including the ICMA’s Green Bond Principles and ACMF’s ASEAN Green Bond Standards. (SCB, n.d.[33])
Standard Chartered Bank (Thai)   The Standard Chartered has over 40 product variants within our Sustainable Finance product suite, which broadly align to three categories. (Standard Chartered, 2024[36])	Category 1: Use of proceeds (e.g. green loans, sustainability bonds)   Category 2: Sustainability-Linked (e.g. Sustainability-Linked derivatives (SLD))   Category 3: Liabilities products (e.g. SCB Group Sustainable Bond issuances, sustainable deposits)	Earmarking funds exclusively for pre-approved green or social projects, with formal documentation and post-disbursement reporting to ensure proper allocation and measurable impact.   Products which incentivise the client’s achievements of pre-determined sustainability performance objectives. 	Sustainability-linked loan (SLL)	The bank offers loans that are tied to sustainability performance. It involves setting sustainability targets that generate environmental or social benefits, with interest rates linked to key performance indicators (KPIs) and the achievement of those sustainability goals (TMB Thanachart Bank Public Company Ltd., 2023[39])
United Overseas Bank (UOB)	Green loan	The bank offers green loans under the Green Loan Principles of the Loan Market Association/Asia Pacific Loan Market Association. These principles include a variety of frameworks such as green building, sustainable cities, circular economy, sustainable trade finance, transition finance and sustainable food and agribusiness (UOB, n.d.[41])	UOB Thailand has extended loans under its Transition Finance Framework of five billion baht to Bangchak Corporation PCL and THB 1.5 billion to BSGF Co., Ltd. For Thailand’s first SAF plant (Bangchak, 2024[42]).
	Sustainability-linked loan (SLL)	The bank offers sustainability linked financing ties interest margins to a borrower's achievement of ambitious sustainability performance targets (SPTs).
