The GREEN Action Task Force held its 2026 Annual Meeting on 15–16 June 2026 at the OECD Conference Centre in Paris, bringing together over 100 participants from Eurasian and OECD member countries, international organisations, financial institutions, and civil society.
The meeting provided a platform for peer exchange and strategic dialogue on aligning economic development with climate and environmental priorities across the region.
Discussions highlighted the need to move from planning to implementation, strengthen investment frameworks, and integrate climate- and nature-related risks into economic and financial decision-making.
Key topics included:
- Scaling up investment for nature and addressing nature-related financial risks
- Accelerating green economy planning and implementation
- Advancing sustainable finance and green capital markets
- Strengthening water security and sustainable water management
The meeting also explored ways to deepen collaboration between Eurasian countries and the OECD, with a strong focus on delivering practical, on-the-ground results.
