Vaccine equity is a test for global solidarity

A virus in a global pandemic does not discriminate between rich and poor – but inequitable access to vaccines leads to discrimination in protection.

A worldwide vaccination drive to eliminate a global pandemic can only be effective if it is a collective global endeavour.

Driving forward global vaccination programmes and expanding testing capabilities worldwide would provide critical support to populations that need to rebuild their local economies, bolstering efforts to rebuild a more resilient world economy.
