The OECD Regional Centre for Competition in Latin America is a joint venture between the Peruvian Competition Authority and the OECD. Launched in November 2019, the Centre expands the OECD's work on competition in Latin America. See more about the centre.

This OECD report presents market studies practices in the six Latin America countries and provides areas for improvement on how to improve their legal and institutional set-up based on competition agencies’ practices.

This report sets out the experiences of OECD countries in applying the concept of market definition in the telecommunications sector, with a particular focus on triple- and quadruple-play services. The findings are then related to existing regulations in Colombia to verify whether the relevant markets defined in regulatory decisions are consistent with the competition economics approach to identifying relevant markets.
