The foundational legal documents of each institution (e.g. charters, articles of agreement, articles of associations) were reviewed to determine whether private capital mobilisation is explicitly included in their mandate. Institutions were then classified into three categories:
Promotes private capital mobilisation: the legal mandate explicitly references the mobilisation or facilitation of private investment or private capital.
Promotes broad capital mobilisation: the mandate refers to general capital mobilisation without explicitly distinguishing private capital.
Capital mobilisation not mentioned: no reference to capital mobilisation is found in the legal documents.
Documentation not found: no relevant legal documentation could be identified or accessed at the time of review.
