KRISS is a leading institution in South Korea for standards and metrology, supporting various scientific and industrial sectors with accurate and reliable data. The Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science (KRISS) established the National Center for Standard Reference Data (NCSRD) on August 1, 2006, as the central authority for Korea's standard reference data system. Since its inception, NCSRD has been dedicated to uncovering and standardizing data across various societal fields, enhancing data reliability and accuracy. In 2017, KRISS hosted the International Symposium of Standard Reference Data (ISSRD), emphasizing the theme "Transition to Meaningful Data." This event highlighted KRISS's ongoing commitment to advancing standard reference data initiatives.
To provide high-quality reference data that can be confidently used and reused in various scientific and industrial contexts.
