On 13 August 2025, Mr Andy Hall, on behalf of affected individuals, submitted a specific instance to the Australian NCP alleging that Ansell Limited, a publicly traded Australian company specialising in gloves and other personal protective equipment, had not observed the General Policies (Chapter II) and Human Rights (Chapter IV) provisions of the Guidelines. Specifically, issues concerned an alleged lack of due diligence and allegations of forced labour in relation to its Malaysian suppliers.
The Australian NCP is currently conducting its initial assessment.
