This closing event will bring together competition authorities, public procurement experts, policymakers and international stakeholders to reflect on the achievements of the OECD-European Commission Technical Support Instrument (TSI) project “Fighting Bid Rigging in Public Procurement in Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece and Romania.”
Participants will discuss lessons learned from supporting national efforts to detect, prevent and sanction bid rigging, explore opportunities for continued co-operation across Europe, and exchange experiences with countries participating in a second OECD-EU project cycle.
The event will also mark the launch of a report compiling best practices on the topic and key findings and recommendations for strengthening competition, transparency and integrity in public procurement.
