Unlocking the potential of diverse teaching profiles

When we think of future teachers, we think of young graduates eager to pass on knowledge. But the picture is much more diverse: Career changers, returning teachers, and non-teaching school staff are already shaping the profession. How can governments support these diverse profiles this trend in times of labour shortages and evolving career pathways? What impact might this have on learning environments – and perhaps schooling as a whole? This project explores the benefits of recognising and supporting diverse teacher profiles, and their potential to shape the future of education.
