The OECD Eastern Europe and South Caucasus Initiative (EESCI), launched in April 2009, is part of the OECD Eurasia Competitiveness Programme and covers the five countries of the Eastern Partnership: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
The Initiative's activities range from policy analysis and design to capacity-building support and the exchange of good practices between EaP and OECD countries. Its work covers a wide range of thematic areas, including entrepreneurship, investment, connectivity and digitalisation, as well as broader business environment reforms, a central element to achieve long-term sustainable growth across the region
