Corruption and a lack of transparency are standing in the way of economic growth and competitiveness worldwide. The OECD is working with nine partner countries – Albania, Algeria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, South Africa and Uzbekistan to help level the playing field and foster fairer market conditions. This project works to:
- Raise awareness of effective practices to fight corruption
- Expand stakeholder consultations, including civil society
- Provide tailor-made advice and hands-on recommendations
- Translate policy guidance into concrete reform actions
- Strengthen institutional capacities and inter-ministerial cooperation
- Integrate the latest legal and policy tools into academic curricula
