As part of the Global Compact on Refugees (GCR) and the 2016 New York Declaration for Refugees and Migrants, States (together with civil society, international and national NGOs, the private sector and others) committed to expand access to third country solutions, including resettlement and complementary pathways for safe admission of refugees to third countries.
