The publication was drafted by Mariana Prats, Emma Phillips, and Simeon Lauterbach. Sarah Kups provided substantial feedback and contributed to the drafting of selected sections. Simeon Lauterbach prepared the data and carried out the statistical analysis, and Tenzin Dekyi provided support for data analysis and led the data visualisation. Sarah Babay prepared the report for publication and dissemination, and Jocelene Bonneau provided administrative support.
Valuable input and feedback were provided by Gillian Dorner and other colleagues in the Public Governance Directorate, including Charles Baubion, Laura Córdoba Reyes, Felipe González Zapata and Craig Matasick.
The Spanish translation was thoroughly reviewed and edited by Mariana Prats. Santiago González and Paulina López Ramos provided generous support.
The work greatly benefited from inputs provided by the Advisory Group of the OECD Trust Survey in Latin America and the Caribbean (2023-2024) and country delegates at technical and senior level to the Global Trust Survey Project (2024-2025). The Advisory Group, comprised of public officials, representatives from national statistical offices, and partner organisations and academics, also provided guidance and constructive feedback on questionnaire content, design and translation in local languages and on survey methodology.
This work was made possible through the generous financial support and partnership of CAF (Corporación Andina de Fomento- Banco de Desarrollo de América Latina), IDB (Inter-American Development Bank/ Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo), and GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit).
