The OECD launched the fourth Environmental Performance Review of Austria on Friday 22 May 2026 at 10:30 CEST in Vienna.
OECD Environment Director, Jaime de Bourbon de Parme presented the review’s findings alongside the Austrian Federal Minister for Agriculture and Forestry, Climate and Environmental Protection, Regions and Water Management, Norbert Totschnig.
The Review provides an evidence-based assessment of Austria’s environmental performance over the past decade and includes 40 recommendations, with a special focus on the circular economy.
