This Survey is published on the responsibility of the Economic and Development Review Committee of the OECD. The mandate of the Committee is to improve the economic performance of Members and selected non-Members on a sustainable basis by promoting a better understanding of their key economic challenges to help strengthen their economic policies.
The Committee reviewed the economic situation and policies of the Slovak Republic on 10 February 2026 with participation of representatives of the Slovak authorities. The draft report was then revised in light of the discussions and given final approval as the agreed report of the whole Committee on 20 March 2026. The cut-off date for data used in the Survey is 9 June 2026.
The Secretariat’s draft report was prepared for the Committee by Boris Cournède, Erik Frohm, Michael Koelle, Lucia Russo, Jeff Mollins and Bénédicte Rispal, with contributions from Federico Giovannelli, Richard Kubas, Peter Wittemann and Branislav Žúdel, under the supervision of Mame Fatou Diagne.
