On 23 October 2023, an association submitted a specific instance to the Italian NCP alleging that a company active in the naval sector had not observed the Human Rights (Chapter IV) and Environment (Chapter VI) provisions of the Guidelines. Specific issues related to alleged environmental damage, human rights and remedy.
The Italian NCP is currently conducting an initial assessment.
