On 6 October 2025, an individual submitted a specific instance to the Swiss NCP, alleging that SGS S.A., a Swiss publicly traded company in the administrative and support services sector, had not observed the General Policies (Chapter II), Disclosure (III), Human Rights (Chapter IV) and Combating Bribery and other forms of corruption (Chapter VII) provisions of the Guidelines. Specifically, issues concerned the alleged lack of due diligence with regard to the company’s subsidiary in Cameroon, and alleged reprisals, including wrongful termination against the individual after he reported wrongdoing as a whistleblower. The individual reports having exhausted all available domestic legal remedies.
The Swiss NCP is currently conducting an initial assessment.
