- This one-day high-level roundtable is organised by the OECD Clean Energy Finance and Investment Mobilisation Programme (CEFIM) with the Country Platform Hub, in the lead-up to the 31st Conference of Parties (COP31) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. It will bring together policymakers, development finance institutions, institutional investors, industry associations, civil society, academia and country platform experts to share practical lessons from existing platforms and discuss innovative governance, tools and financing strategies for effective country-owned pathways, to accelerate investment for domestic priorities in emerging markets and developing countries, such as in clean energy and green industrialisation.
- The roundtable agenda will follow a step-by-step approach for identifying key steps for investment mobilisation. A key outcome from the roundtable will be the launch of criteria for effective country platforms alongside key steps for investment mobilisation, including for challenges, priorities and stakeholders across each step and ecosystems.
