This informational webinar provided a practical overview of the second and final call for applications for cross-border regions interested in participating in the "Interreg Mechanism for Promoting Active Communities and Territories" (IMPACT) project.
During the webinar, the OECD and the European Commission's Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) briefly presented IMPACT, highlighted key updates relevant to the second call, shared lessons learned from the first round of applications, and address participants' questions.
This webinar was built on the first informational webinar, held on 24 February 2026, during which the project was presented in full, and an extensive question-and-answer session took place. Participants were encouraged to consult the webinar recording and the FAQ document, prepared from the questions received (available here).
The webinar was aimed at cross-border actors in the European Union and neighbouring countries involved in territorial and community development, including regional and local governments and community development structures active in border regions (e.g. local action groups and fisheries local action groups). It also targeted cross-border governance bodies such as European Groupings of Territorial Co-operation (EGTCs) and Euroregions.
