This informational webinar provide a practical overview of the call for applications for cross-border regions interested to participate in the “Interreg Mechanism for Promoting Active Communities and Territories ” (IMPACT) project and will address participants’ questions.
During the webinar, the OECD and the European Commission Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) presented the objectives and scope of the IMPACT project, which supports cross-border territories in designing and implementing community-led local development (CLLD) strategies. The session then focused primarily on the project’s call for applications launched on 9 February. It covered eligibility criteria, application steps, the selection process and the support offered to selected pilot territories during 2026 and 2027.
The webinar was aimed at cross-border actors in the European Union and neighbouring countries involved in territorial and community development, including regional and local governments and community development structures active in border regions (e.g. local action groups [LAGs] and fisheries local action groups [FLAGs]). It also targeted cross-border governance bodies such as European groupings of territorial co-operation (EGTCs) and Euroregions.
