This workshop was co-convened by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the OECD on 21 October 2025, in Bishkek, the Kyrgyz Republic, in partnership with the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
The event was organised within the framework of the Water, Energy and Land-use Nexus programme in Central Asia, participated by agrifood business owners and representatives of business associations in Kyrgyzstan.
The workshop showcased practical tools and exchanged good practice examples to promote investment in climate-resilient agrifood value chains through a Nexus approach linking water, energy and land use.
The event supported participants in identifying suitable technologies and practices, understanding financing opportunities and applying key indicators within the Nexus approach. Case studies from Kazakhstan and other countries in the region illustrated practical applications of resilience-building measures to the attendees.
