The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) of the Ministry of Power in the Government of India, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), under its Clean Energy Finance and Investment Mobilisation (CEFIM) Programme, jointly hosted a Consultation Workshop on “De-Risking Instruments for Energy Efficiency Finance in India: The role of energy savings insurance and other instruments” on Thursday 20th March at Hotel Taj Mahal, Mumbai, India. The aim of the workshop was to discuss selected de-risking instruments and their potential implementation in promising sectors of the Indian Economy. The workshop gathered representatives from the Government of India, Multilateral Development Banks and development partners; financial institutions and insurance providers in India; energy service companies and associations.
