The SIC ICWC organised a conference to which the OECD also contributed in the frame of the Water, Energy, Land-use Nexus project in Central Asia.
The conference aimed to build a dialogue between decision-makers and experts, as well as between senior professionals and youth, on water management. The goal was to align discussions with the water, energy and land nexus in Central Asia and establish an expert partnership to enhance the science-policy interface in the region.
The conference was participated in by several high-level officials including Ministers. It also benefited from the participation of water managers, experts and young professionals from Central Asian countries. This diverse audience fostered a comprehensive understanding and collaborative approach to water management, addressing both current challenges and future opportunities within the region.
