The OECD, the Inter-American Development Bank and the World Bank will launch the third edition of Health at a Glance: Latin America and the Caribbean on 29 September at 00:01 CEST.
The report provides comparable data on health and health systems across 33 countries in the region, covering health status, determinants of health, health system resources and financing, quality of care, the health workforce and ageing. This edition has a special focus on healthcare quality and inequalities in health and healthcare, examining the gaps in access, quality, financial protection and outcomes, and how countries can build more effective, equitable and financially sustainable health systems.
Representatives of the three institutions will present the main findings of the report, followed by a discussion and a Q&A during a launch event on 29 September at 10:00 ET / 16:00 CEST.
