In addition to attending the World Economic Forum, the Secretary-General held bilateral meetings with officials from several countries in attendance as well as CEOs from various companies.
The Secretary-General delivered a keynote address at the Annual Meeting of the Leadership of the Social Democratic Party of Germany.
Mr. Gurría presented the OECD Health System Review of Mexico and the report "Improving ISSSTE's Public Procurement for Better Results". He also attended the Economic Outlook Seminar 2016 and received a Doctor Honoris Causa at the Universidad del Valle de México (UVM).
The Secretary-General was at the opening of Paris 2015 - Leaders Day. He also participated in several high-level events, and held bilateral meetings with numerous leaders attending the COP21.
Mr. Gurría met with President Bachelet to advance collaboration and commemorate the 5th anniversary of Chile joining the OECD. He also presented the OECD Economic Survey of Chile, spoke at various events, and held a series of bilateral meetings with Ministers and officials.
The Secretary-General attended the G20 Leaders Summit and delivered on the G20/ECD BEPS Action Plan and a number of other areas including inclusive growth, youth employment, quality jobs, skills, investment, development, green finance and anti-corruption.
The Secretary-General presented the OECD Economic Survey and the Environmental Performance Review of Brazil. He attended a series of meetings and also signed the Brazil-OECD Programme of Work for 2016-2017.
The Secretary-General attended the OECD Public Governance for Inclusive Growth Ministerial Meeting "Towards a New Vision for the Public Sector". He also met with Mr. Sauli Niinistö, President of Finland, and presented the OECD Regulatory Policy Outlook 2015.
The Secretary-General opened the OECD Ministerial meeting “Creating our Common Future through Science, Technology and Innovation” alongside Mrs. Park Geunhye, President of the Republic of Korea. Mr. Gurría also presented OECD Science, Technology and Industry Scoreboard 2015 and held a series of meetings.
The Secretary-General attended events in Guadelajara, Mexico City and Cancun and presented several new OECD publications on Mexico.
