In Cambodia, youth make up about one-third of the total population. This is a potential demographic dividend that can lead to economic growth and social transformation if the right policies are put in place. Cambodia’s economy is growing, and opportunities for youth empowerment are real. Youth face several challenges, however. This report looks in depth at the situation of youth in four well-being dimensions – health, employment, education and civic participation – with the aim to provide policy recommendations that will improve youth livelihoods.
