This country-specific summary is based on the results shown in the 2025 edition of Revenue Statistics in Africa for the 38 African countries included in the report. It includes comparable data on the level of tax and non-tax revenues as a percentage of GDP for each country up to 2023 and shows how each country’s results compare to those of other countries in the region as well as the Africa average. The summary also provides a detailed breakdown of the country’s tax structure in 2023 compared to the average tax structures for Africa, the OECD, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Asia and the Pacific.
