Ownership and Governance of State-Owned Enterprises

This series provides accessible, up-to-date and comparable information on state-owned enterprise (SOE) ownership and governance frameworks and practices across numerous economies. It aims to support governments, SOE boards and management, as well as the wider policy and business communities to strengthen effective, accountable and transparent state ownership. Drawing on country-level analysis and cross-country evidence, each edition examines trends in SOE governance, including: ownership arrangements; SOEs in the marketplace; disclosure, transparency and accountability of SOEs; composition and responsibilities of SOE boards; SOEs and sustainability. The series also tracks emerging trends and developments in the global SOE landscape, including the evolving economic footprint of SOEs drawing on the OECD Global SOE Dataset. By providing a regular, comprehensive reference on national frameworks and practices, the series supports greater awareness and more effective implementation of the OECD Guidelines on Corporate Governance of State-Owned Enterprises.
