The Making Development Co-operation More Effective Progress Report 2026 was prepared by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), under the auspices of the Global Partnership for Effective Development Co-operation (GPEDC). The OECD and the UNDP would like to thank the GPEDC Co-Chairs’ Offices and Steering Committee members for their engagement throughout the 2023-26 monitoring round.
This report would not have been possible without the contributions of the 44 partner country governments that led the monitoring exercise, as well as participating development partners and non-executive stakeholders. In particular, the OECD-UNDP Joint Support Team would like to thank the National Co-ordinators who managed the monitoring process in their countries; they are listed in the table below. The chapters in Part I, which present the analysis of the data collected, were drafted by either UNDP or OECD staff members. The chapters in Part II, which present the outcomes of country-level dialogues, were drafted by UNDP staff.
