This document is the second edition of the Internationally Harmonised Functional, Product and Article Use Categories, which includes internationally harmonised functional use categories, and product and article use categories for use in exposure assessments of chemicals. The first edition was published in 2017. In this second edition, Table 2.2. Functional Use Categories and Definitions for harmonisation has been updated for harmonisation with the European Chemical Agency’s guidance document - Guidance on Information Requirements and Chemical Safety Assessment: R12: Use Description.
