This note focuses on G7 jurisdictions’ experience with AI-enabled algorithmic pricing and related conducts, looking at both relevant legislation and competition law enforcement responses from an international perspective. It is prepared for the 2025 Joint Competition Policy Makers and Enforcers Summit under the Canadian presidency in continuity with previous OECD work. The note highlights relevant patterns and key insights from government and competition authorities’ interventions in G7 countries, identifying common concerns and challenges and providing a snapshot of what authorities and policymakers are facing in the evolving area of algorithmic pricing.
