Since 2020, the Global Forum Secretariat has progressively expanded its capacity-building offer to address the specific needs and challenges faced by Caribbean jurisdictions in implementing and using the international standards on transparency and exchange of information for tax purposes.
In 2024, engagement with Caribbean jurisdictions was strengthened, along collaboration with the Caribbean Community and the Caribbean Organisation of Tax Administrators Secretariats. This resulted in the launch of the Caribbean Dialogue, a dedicated and structured regional capacity-building programme.
Built on a sequenced and pragmatic approach, the Caribbean Dialogue supports jurisdictions in strengthening their institutional frameworks, advancing towards implementation readiness, and progressively enhancing their operational practices across all tax transparency standards.
