Participants shared their experience throughout the TtT programme, which includes an initial series introducing future trainers to the core components of tax transparency and EOI, and the advanced series available to certified trainers from previous cohorts to enhance their technical knowledge and skills to remain in the TtT network. Trainers also exchanged best practices for overcoming challenges and mastering local trainings.
Participants of the 2025 initial programme and re-certified trainers from previous cohorts that successfully completed the 2025 advanced programme received their certificates. Awards were presented to participants who demonstrated outstanding performance in specific areas of the programme. The meeting concluded by highlighting the upcoming priorities for trainers to sustain the momentum in 2026 and by providing an outlook on the next TtT programme.
The Global Forum’s TtT programme aims at building sustainable local training resources in EOI, allowing local trainers to internalise, adapt and multiply the acquired knowledge and skills within their own tax administrations. Since its launch in 2021, more than 300 participants from 77 jurisdictions covering 6 regional zones haven taken part in the programme. In total, over 13 500 officials have been trained on EOI through more than 300 local trainings around the world.
The Global Forum is the leading multilateral body mandated to ensure that jurisdictions around the world adhere to and effectively implement the standard on transparency and exchange of information on request and the standards of automatic exchange of information, covering financial accounts data and crypto-asset transactions. These objectives are achieved through a robust monitoring and peer review process. The Global Forum also runs an extensive capacity-building programme to support its members in implementing the standards and help tax authorities make the best use of cross-border information sharing channels.
