10/05/2019 – Two members of the Global Forum Secretariat (Dónal Godfrey, Deputy Head of the Secretariat and Jose Mejia, Tax Policy Advisor) have participated to a workshop on 22-27 April with Colombia’s Tax Officials on the collection, exchange, matching and use of the Automatic Exchange common reporting (CRS) Data. The workshop was organised in collaboration with the Norwegian Tax Administration. The aim was to assess the status of Colombia capabilities in both (i) the collection and exchange of information and (ii) the conversion, matching and using of the CRS data.

The visit to Colombia also included seminars to the Colombian officials on Beneficial Owner Standard and the Exchange of Information on Request standard as part of the assistance to Colombian in the preparation for their EOI Peer Review.
