Practices for measuring audit impact vary considerably across supreme audit institutions and internal audit functions. While many track recommendation implementation and financial savings, fewer assess the broader value that audit can deliver – from strengthening internal controls and shaping policy to fostering organisational learning.
Similarly, approaches to communicating audit impact remain uneven. While parliamentary briefings, public reports and press releases are commonly used, relatively few institutions make systematic use of dashboards, social media or visual summaries. These challenges highlight the need for a more comprehensive and strategic approach to measuring and communicating audit value.
This webinar will bring together high-level global leaders to explore ways to better capture and demonstrate the lasting improvements audits help achieve, and present the findings of the new OECD report Measuring Public Audit Impact and Communicating its Value.
Agenda and speaker details will be available soon.
